maintaining the organisation inventory levels, tracking inventory
movements, and ensuring accurate inventroy counts, as well as
overseeing the operation and management of the warehouse/distribution
centre. The purpose of this job while working as part of the in-flight
catering team, is to ensure a consistent delivery of high performance
standards withing the time constraints of the service level agreement
with our customers whilst maintaining health and safety standards and
good working practices in line with company policy. Duies to include
accessing budgetary limitations and customer requirements to decide on
quantity, type, range and quality of goods to be bought. Assessing
bids from suppliers, finding suppliers, and negotiating prices.
Helping to negotiate contracts with suppliers and specifying details
of goods required. Monitoring the quality of incoming goods and
returning unsatisfactory items. Attending trade
